πŸŽ₯ 8 Years of Podcasting Knowledge in 99 minutes | Habit Chess Newsletter

Hi Reader,

Making this video took me down memory lane.

In 2016, I started my first podcast out of my childhood bedroom with just a $16 USB mic and a passion for learning.

No big network, no audience, just me and my curiosity.

Within a year, that small podcast led to my dream internship and job.

The guests from episodes 14 and 17 changed my career trajectory, and from there, I was hooked.

Since 2020, I've launched dozens of podcasts, including my own, and I've tested all these strategies in real time.

I made this video to share everything I’ve learned in the past 8 years of podcasting.

So that you can skip the trial and error, save thousands of dollars, and build a podcast that truly serves you, your audience, and your goals.

Whether you're an aspiring podcaster who’s overwhelmed by where to start, or you already have a show but aren't gaining traction, give this video a watch.

I know it’s long so make sure to save it for later so you can come back to it when needed.

Hi Reader, Most people assume skill-building requires hours of practice. But in reality, small, structured daily efforts can create significant progress. Five to ten minutes a day is enough if used correctly. This email breaks down how to make those minutes count. Attach Your Skill to a Meaningful Project Learning in isolation rarely leads to long-term progress. The best way to stay consistent is to tie your skill to a real-world outcome that matters. Compare these two approaches: Practicing...

I Called It Years Ago YouTube just announced last week that they've reached 1 BILLION monthly active viewers of podcast content. Let that sink in for a moment. While the podcast industry has been obsessing over Spotify acquisitions and Apple's legacy platform, YouTube quietly became the podcast king. And I've been saying this would happen for years. The Silent Takeover This wasn't some overnight success story. It was inevitable. A silent takeover that happened because YouTube offered...

Hi Reader, This week on the Habit Chess newsletter: How our minds filter what matters most to us Today I've got 5 notes from my week and a quick story to share with you on high agency thinking and skill acquisition. Ideas: πŸ’‘ Does it help more than it hurts? A simple but powerful filter for decision-making that cuts through complexity. πŸ’‘ You're not going to get the yellow pages delivered to your doorstep next year. Seemed impossible to accept this. Yet we're going through a similar leap in...
